YOUTH COUNCIL

Appointed by the Mayor of Mobile, the Mobile City Council and the Mobile County Commission, these young people serve as liaisons between our elected officials and the youth of our community. The Youth Council encourages civic responsibility and offers youth opportunities to meet and work with other high school students.

Outreach efforts of the Youth Council include the Ambassadors and the PeaceMakers. These dynamic youth groups work on projects that send a timely message to their peers about the importance of healthy lifestyle choices.
