ABOUT THIS PROGRAM
Through the implementation of an evidence-based prevention curriculum called “Strengthening Families Program,” families gain insight in areas essential to positive youth and family development, including substance abuse education, communication skills, and reinforcement of family bonding and attachment.

PROGRAM DETAILS

The program consists of four (4) sessions. All sessions will be held on Thursday at Davidson High School from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. The first session will require completion of paperwork so please arrive by 5:15 PM.

All youth must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or responsible adult who must remain and participate in each session.

NO ONE WILL BE ADMITTED AFTER 5:45 PM.

Successful completion of the program requires attendance and participation in all four sessions.

It is recommended that the four sessions be attended consecutively.

It is recommended that the same adult attend with the youth for all four sessions.

All participants must be appropriately dressed.

All cell phones, pagers, or other communication devices must be turned off or placed on silent and/or vibrate.

Food and drink cannot be taken into the class or ingested during the sessions.

Children under six years of age cannot attend the sessions
